Wedoourbest does not negotiate with organizations or people who are selling or transporting humans/refugees.

Wedoourbest does not in any way make deals in the event of hostage-taking. We will, of course, do everything possible to protect our employees and our volunteers, but we will not negotiate with smugglers or people who abduct or torture our volunteers or employees. If we did this, our staff and volunteers would become more valuable to these people, and it would create worse situations in the future.

We know we have a huge responsibility – much larger than other employers or organizations who are doing humanitarian work in 2018. But we do see helping children and youth in need as more important, and we must be brave and take on this responsibility.
